Pomegranate-Berry smoothie

I have always enjoyed the beautiful colour, taste, texture and entire experience of the pomegranate. I think if I could eat them year round they'd lose some of their appeal. I wouldn't hold on to the flavour burst in every seed. I probably would be less likely to eat them for all the work that goes into deseeding them.

This will hopefully be one of several pomegranate recipes I post because I think sometimes people don't know how to incorporate new fruits and vegetables into their diets besides eat them raw.

Pomegranate-Berry Smoothie - 1 serving

1/4 cup of pomegranate juice (fresh or bottled)
1/4 cup of fruit juice
1/2 cup of frozen berries
1/2 of a banana

Blend all ingredients together.

1 serving - 160 calories (varies depending on juice and berry type)
